This last theme creates an unprecedented dialogue with the work of Maillol, insinuating itself into the rooms of the museum.
All of the works on display come from the Jean Pigozzi collection, the most imposing compilation of contemporary African art in the world. For more than three decades, this collection has contributed to the growth and recognition of sub-Saharan African artists on the international art scene.
